Answer:

amit needs a wooden plank

height =8/9 m

he also join heights of two wooden planks

so, the total height = 3/5+2/9 = 37/45

comparing,

the height who need amit = total heights of two planks

I. e, 8/9 = 37/45

40/45>37/45 ( same denominator)

so, he want another one plank that's height is,

37/45+3/45 = 40/45 = 8/9

so, the solution is 3/45m or 1/15 m
