Amit, Pranjal and Pranav were finding the circumference of a semicircle of diameter 42cm.Amit’s answer was 108cm.Panjalj’s answer was 66cm.Pranav’s answer was 87 cm. Which of the statements is correct?

Answer:

108 cm

Diameter of semicircle is 42 cm

So, Radius of semicircle is 21 cm (42÷2)

formula to find circumference of semicircle = πr+2r

putting in the values we get :-

22÷7 ×21+2×21

= 66+42

= 108 cm

So, Amit's answer was correct.
