Hey Mate!☺✌

Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )
= 2×( 120 m + 80 m )
= 2 × 200 m
=400 m

Distance covered in 3 rounds = 3 × 400 m
=1200 m

Hope it helps☺!

Answer:

1200 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Amit runs around a rectangular park which is 120m long and 80m wide

To Find:  Find the distance he covers in 3 rounds.

Solution:

Formula of perimeter of rectangle = 2(length+breadth)

Distance covered in one round is perimeter

So, perimeter =  2(120+80)

                       =2(200)

                       =400m

So, the distance traveled in one round is 400 m

Distance traveled in 3 rounds = 400*3 =1200 m
