10200  will be his total savings in 17 months

Step-by-step explanation:

now look at the series formed

200 + 250 + 300 + ...........................  till 17 th term

this is an A P series with common difference = 50

Sum of AP is given by:

S = \frac{n}{2} ( 2a + d (n-1 ) )

d = 50

a = 200

n = 17

S= (2*200 + 16 * 50 ) * 17 / 2

 = (400+800 ) * 17 / 2

 = 600 * 17

 = 10200

Step-by-step explanation:

the AP becomes...

200,250,300,350..........17th term...

we hav to add all this 17 terms...

17th term = a+16d

= 200+16(50)

=200+800

=1000

so, 1st term is 200 and 17th term is 1000....

s17 =  \frac{n}{2} (1st \: term + last \: term) \\  \\  =  \frac{17}{2} (200 + 1000) \\  \\  =  \frac{17}{2} (1200) \\  \\  = 17 \times 600 \\  \\  = 10200

Therefore....

he will save 10200 rupees at the end of 17th week....

mark it as brainliest...
