Solution:

Let, Joseph score X marks in examination.

Therefore,

Given that, Amit scored 10 marks less than Joseph

Therefore,  

Amit score = X- 10 Marks ……….. (1)

and, Ali scored 15 marks more than Joseph

Therefore,  

Ali score = X+15 marks ………. (2)

According to question,

Joseph Score + Amit Score + Ali Score = 245 ……….. (3)

From equations 1, 2 and 3,

X+(X-10)+(X+15)=245

3X+5=245

3X = 240

X = 80

Hence Joseph Score 80 Marks.

As per the given, Amit scored 10 marks less than Joseph

So, Amit’s score is =80-10=70.
