Let Joseph scored X marks .


Marks scored by Amit in examination = ( X - 10 ) marks.




Marks scored by Anil in examination = ( X + 15 ) marks.




Given :-

X + X - 10 + X + 15 = 245



3X + 5 = 245



3X = 245-5


3X = 240


X = 240/3


X = 80



Marks scored by Joseph = X = 80 marks



Marks scored by Amit = X - 10 = 80-10 = 70 marks.


Marks scored by Anil = X + 15 = 80+15 = 95 marks.
