S.P of 1 st scooter = 35000
Profit = 25%
C.P of 1 st scooter = sp×100/(100+profit)
35000×100/(100+25)
35000×100 /125
28000

S.P of 2nd scooter = 35000
Loss = 25%
C.P of 2nd scooter = sp×100/(100-loss)
35000×100/(100-25)
35000×100/75
46667

Total C.P = (46667+28000) = 74667
Total S.P = (35000+35000) = 70000
Loss = (74667-70000) = 4667
Loss % = (loss/cp×100) = 4667/74667 ×100
= 6.25%
