To Find :-

      ⇒ To find the cost of 1 pencil & 1 sharpner.

Solution :-

 

  → As told in QN cost of 1 sharpner is Thrice of pencil.

  → So , Let the price of 1 sharpner be 3x & 1 pencil be x

  → According to next statement , we can say that = 50-20=30

  → From both conditions , We can Form a Eqn

       $3x + x = 30 \\\\4x = 30 \\\\x = \frac{30}{4} \\\\x = 7.5$

   

    ∴  Price of 1 pencil is 7.5 Rs.

⇒ Price of 1 sharpener that we assumed is 3x.

       So , We are going to put value of x in 3x.

    → 3x

   → 3 × 7.5

   → 22.5

        ✩ Cost of 1 pencil is 7.5 Rs.

        ✩ Cost of 1 sharpener is 22.5 Rs.
