area for sun flower = 100-50=50
=50- 20% of 50 m^2
=50- 10
=40 m^2

so each tow covers 40/ 5= 8m^2 area

alokraj121: Total area of garden=100 m^2 . area for growing roses=100-50=50m^2. .Area for growing vegetables=20%of 50m^2=20/100*50=10m^2.Now area for sunflower plant=(50-10)m^2=40m^2.For 5rows of the sunflower is =40m^2.so area for each row= 40/5=8m^2

heyy.
first find unused area - which is.
= {(100/2)*(80/100)}
=40m^2
then 5 rows of sunflower is planted in that.
each row area is 40/5 = 8m^2.

alokraj121: but a student can not understand such type of process.ok
