amits buys few garms of gold at the poles as per the instruction of one of his friends. he hands over the same when he meets him at the equator. when his friends measures the weight of gold, he did not find the same weight as that was on poles. on the basis of this (i) weight of gold on the equator is less than or greater than weight on poles?​

Since the acceleration due to gravity is less at equator as compared to that at poles, the weight of the gold will be less at the equator than at the poles. Hence, Amit's friend won't agree with the weight of the gold bought since it would be less than what he is expecting.
