Ammeter will show 1 Ampere current

and voltmeter will show 2 volt drop across it .

Explanation:

» The equivalent resistance of 2 ohm resistors in parallel is 1 ohm .

» The 1 ohm is connected with another 2 ohm resistor which is parallel to voltmeter

the series connection will show 1+2 = 3 ohm which is total resistance of circuit.

» Current = Voltage / resistance = 3 / 3 = 1 Ampere .

[ ★ Hence ammeter will show 1 Ampere ]

» while voltmeter will show 2 volt as

V = I × R = 1 × 2 = 2 volt .
