Given:

Amna and Ayesha left school at the same time and travelled at the same speed amna travelled 60km to get home and aisha travelled 60000m they reached their homes at the same time.

To find:

Reason why they reached home at same time.

Calculation:

Let speed of Ayesha and Amna be same and equal to v ;

Time taken by Amna

 \rm{t1 =  \dfrac{60 \: km}{v} \:  \:  \: ......(1) }

Similarly , time taken by Ayesha

 \rm{t2 =  \dfrac{60000 \: m}{v} \:  \:  \: ......(2) }

Converting distance from metre to km;

 =  >  \rm{t2 =  \dfrac{ (\frac{60000}{1000})\: km}{v} }

 =  >  \rm{t2 =  \dfrac{ 60\: km}{v} }

So, t1 and t2 are equal as they travelled same distance with equal speed.

[Hence explained]

Explanation:

Solution:-

Let speed of Ayesha and Amna be same and equal to v ;

Time taken by Amna

Similarly , time taken by Ayesha

Converting distance from metre to km;

So, t1 and t2 are equal as they travelled same distance with equal speed.
