Well amoeba and paramecium belong to same group which is protista. they are heterotrophes, which means they fulfill their nutritional needs from complex organic materials.  However amoeba moves with the help of pseudopodia and paramecium with the help of cilia. Amoeba do not have a definite shape. On the other hand paramecium has a foot-like structure.
