to conduct an experiment to show light is needed for photosynthesis we must remove all the starch which is present in the plant.

Explanation:

  • the plant is kept in the absence of light for sometime. As a result of this it is not able to produce any of the starts.
  • However as there is some amount of starch already present in the plant hence if we test the leaf of the plant with iodine it will still show the presence of starch. Hence the experiment will have wrong inference and observation.
