It's H20 cause it's bond angle is 104.5° which is lowest among all.

NH3 has bond angle 107°

CO2 has bond angle 180°

and CH4 has bond angle 109.5°

Heya folk !!

Here's the answer you are looking for

H2O forms a bent structure due to the presence of 2 lone pairs over O Atom. This makes the bond angle 104.5°

NH3 forms a pyramidal structure due to presence of 1 lone pair. This makes the bond angle 107°

CO2 has no lone pair in the central atom that is C, hence forms a linear structure. This makes the bond angle 180°

CH4 forms a tetrahedral structure due to presence of no lone pair. This makes the bond angle 109.5°

☛ Considering the measure of bond angles we find that the bond angle of water (H2O) is the least.

☛ WITHOUT CONSIDERING MEASURE OF BOND ANGLE :

H2O has 2 lone pairs

NH3 has 1 lone pair

CO2 and CH4 have no lone pairs.

We know that the repulsion between lone pairs is greater than repulsion between lone pair and bond pair is greater than the repulsion between bond pairs.

Since, water has 2 lone pairs, it will have maximum repulsion and the repulsion between the bond pairs will be very less than the repulsion between the lone pairs. Thus, this will make the bond angle minimum.
