Electronic configuration of H2+ is σ1s1σ∗1s0

Bond order will be 1−0/2=1/2

Electronic configuration of H2− is σ1s2σ∗1s1

Bond order will be 2−1/2=1/2.

Bond order for both H2+ and H2− is same but H2+ is more stable than H2− due to absence of electrons in anti-bonding orbital.
