Let us assume that 2nd number is X, then first number will be 3x

If first number is 3x then last number should be 15x .(five times the first number)

So the sum of all numbers =19x

Average =19x/3

57=19x/3

x/3=3

x=9

Largest number =15x=15*9=135

Smallest number =x=9

Difference =135-9=126

Hence answer is 126

Let the three numbers are 3a,a,15a

ie 3a+a+15a/3 = 57

ie 19a = 57*3

a= 57*3/19

a=3*3

=9

therr fore the three numbers are 27,9,135

therefore difference between first and third number = 135-9

= 126
