Given : Among the three people, Andy, Bill, and Cam, one is truthful, one is a liar and the other is an alternator(the one who alternates between truths and lies).

Andy said, "I am not a liar, Cam is the liar" while, Bill said, "I always lie, Andy always speaks the truth" and Cam said,

"I am an alternator, Bill always lies".

To Find : Who is what

Solution:

Bill said, "I always lie, Andy always speaks the truth"

I always lie  can not be truth  so person speaking can not be s truthful, or liar.

Hence Bill is alternator  and lying this time  Hence 2nd statement would be truth that  Andy always speaks the truth

Andy - Truthful

Bill  - Alternator

Cam, - Liar

Lets verify remaining statement :

Andy said, "I am not a liar, Cam is the liar  - Both are true statement

Cam said,  "I am an alternator, Bill always lies" - Both are Lie

Andy - Truthful

Bill  - Alternator

Cam, - Liar
