Let the measures of the supplementary angles be x and x+42 .

x+(x+42)=180

2x+42=180

2x=180-42

2x=138

x=138/2

x=69

Therefore the measure of two supplementary angles are 69 and 111

Angles which when added Sum become

180° called Supplementary Angle.

On Above Question it is written Both are Supplementary Angle means on adding it will be 180°.

In This

Let Smaller Angle=x°

Larger is 42 ° more

Then Larger=(x+42)°

And We know on adding it We get 180

So,

x+(x+42)=180

x+x+42=180

2x+42=180

2x=180-42

2x=138

x=138/2

x=69°

We know Smaller=x°

Smaller Angle=69°

We know larger=(x+42)°

Larger Angle=69+42=111°
