Answer :-

Option c) 432

Assumption :-

x - first number

y - second number

z - third number

Given :-

x = 2y ; x = 3z

1/3(x+y+z) = 396 (1)

Expln:-

x = 2y ; x = 3z

By (1) 1/3(x+y+z) = 396

x+ x/2 + x/3 = 1188

(6x+3x+2x)/6 = 1188

11x = 7128

x = 648

x = 2y x = 3z

y = 648/2 z = 648/3

y = 324 z = 216

The difference between the first and the third number :-

x-z = 648 - 216 = 432 ✿•°•°•°•°
