Among two supplementary angels the measure of the larger angle is 36 degree more than the measure of the smaller . Find their measure

let the smaller angle be x

then bigger angle will be x + 36°

x + x + 36° = 180° ( They are supplementary angles )

2x = 180°-36°

2x = 144°

x = 144/2

x = 72

hence : smaller angle = 72°

bigger angle = 72°+36°

= 108°
