Among two supplementary angles the measure of the larger angles is 40 degrees more than the measure of the smaller .Find their measures.

Let one angle be x°.

Another angle will be x+44°

According to question,

Both are supplementary

So,

x+ x+ 44° = 180°

2x = 180-44 = 136°

x= 68°

Angles are 68° and 112°.
