Answer:

let the measure of small angle be x

As the larger angle is 36° more than smaller angle .

Larger angle = x + 36

Sum of supplementary angles = 180°

Therefore ,

x + x + 36° = 180°

2x + 36° = 180°

2x = 180-36

2x = 144

x = 144/2

x = 72

Smaller angle = 72°

larger angle = x + 36

= 72 + 36

= 108

Solution :

It is mentioned that two angles are supplementary that is add up to 180° .

Let these angles be ω and Г , where ω > Г .

ω + Г = 180

ω = Г + 36

> ( Г + 36 ) + Г = 180

> 2Г + 36 = 180

> 2Г = 180 - 36

> 2Г = 144

> Г = 72

ω =  Г + 36  = 72 + 36 = 108

Thus, the values of ω and Г are 108 and 72 degrees respectively.

This is the required answer .
