let the smaller angle be " x ,and larger angle be " y "

according to question,

larger angle will be y = x + 36

as we know that sum of supplementary angles = 180°

x + y = 180

x + x + 36 = 180

2x = 180 - 36

2x = 144

x = 72

hence, smaller Angle x = 72 °

and larger angle y = 72 + 36 = 108°

【 hope it helps 】

let small angle be x. large angle would be x+36. supplementary angle= sum of two angles. 180=x+x+36. 2x=144. x=72.
