magnesium has larger atomic size than sulphur because as we move across a period, atomic decreases hope it helps!

magnesium has a larger atomic as nuclear charge in sulphur is greater than magnesium's and so,because of the greater nuclear charge of sulphur,it is able to pull valence electrons inwards more effectively decreasing the size of sulphur atom than magnesium.
