The measure of other two angles are 68 degree and 112 degree.

Given :

Among two supplementary angles the measures of the larger angle is 44° more than the measure of the smaller angle.

To Find :

Their measures.

Solution:

Let the smaller angle be "x"

So, larger angle = x + 44

We know that:

★ The sum of supplementary angles is always 180 degree.

So,

★ Smaller angle + larger angle = 180

→ x + x + 44 = 180

→ 2x + 44 = 180

→ 2x = 180 - 44 = 136

→ 2x = 136

→ x = 68

Hence,

  • The smaller angle is 68 degree.
  • Larger angle = x + 44 = 68 + 44 = 112 degree.

Given:-

•Among two supplementary angles,measure of the longer angle is 44 more than smaller angle.

To find:-

•Measures of the angles

Solution:-

=>Let the smaller angle be x°

=>Thus,larger angle=(x+44)°

Now,as the angles are supplementary,their sum will be 180°

=>x+x+44=180

=>2x+44=180

=>2x=180-44

=>2x=136

=>x=136/2

=>x=68°

=>Thus,the smaller angle is 68°

=>And,the larger angle is (68+44)°=112°
