SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

Complete the table below :

\begin{gathered} \begin{array}{|c|c| c|c|  } \bf{u \: (m/s)} & \bf{a \: (m/ {s}^{2} )}& \bf{t \: (sec)}& \bf{v = u + at \:  \: (m/s)}  \\ \\ 0 & 5 & 5 & -  - \\   \\ -  -  & 1 & 8 &16 \\ \end{array}\end{gathered}

EVALUATION

Here the given formula is v = u + at

ANSWER TO QUESTION : 1

Here it is given that

u = 0 , a = 5 , t = 5 , v = ?

Thus we get

 \sf{v = u + at }

 \sf{ \implies \: v = 0 + (5 \times 5) }

 \sf{ \implies \: v = 25 }

So we have v = 25 m/s

ANSWER TO QUESTION

Here it is given that

a = 1 , t = 8 , v = 16 , u = ?

Thus we get

 \sf{ v = u + at }

 \sf{ \implies \: 16 = u + (1 \times 8) }

 \sf{ \implies \:  u + 8 = 16 }

 \sf{ \implies \:  u  = 8}

So we have u = 8 m/s

Hence the complete table is

\begin{gathered} \begin{array}{|c|c| c|c|  } \bf{u \: (m/s)} & \bf{a \: (m/ {s}^{2} )}& \bf{t \: (sec)}& \bf{v = u + at \:  \: (m/s)}  \\ \\ 0 & 5 & 5 & 25\\   \\ 8  & 1 & 8 &16 \\ \end{array}\end{gathered}
