Real image is inverted as well as can be obtained on screen

while Virtual image is erect and can't be obtained on screen

Explanation:real image is formed on same side of lens while virtual is formed on opposite side of a lens

If the image formed is real it will be small in size but if its virtual it will be bigger in size as compared to the object
