Amphibians show incomplete double circulation, because they have three chambered heart ( 2 auricles and 1 ventricle), in ventricle mixing of arterial and venous blood occurs. so they show incomplete double circulation.

Due to the presence of only one ventricle in the heart the amphibians have an incomplete double circulatory system. One ventricle means mixing of de-oxygenated and oxygenated blood. Due to this one ventricle the venous and arterial blood coming from the tissues and lungs respectively gets mixed in ventricle which is why this circulation is considered as incomplete.
