a)when an object is thrown upwards at the point of maximum height the velocity of the body will be zero but the acceleration due to gravity(9.8m/s^)which is a constant value will be still acting on it
b)when an object is in uniform circular motion the speed of the body would be constant but its acceleration will be changing because the direction of the object changes
