Money with Amrita = Rs.350

Money spent by Amrita on notebooks = 3/4 of Rs. 350

= 3/4 * 350

= 3 * 87.5

= Rs. 262.5

Remaining money with Amrita after purchasing = 350 - 262.5 = Rs. 87.5

Money spent by Amrita on stationary items with remaining money = 6/7 of Rs. 87.5

= 6/7 * 87.5

= 6 * 12.5

= Rs. 75

Money left with Amrita = 87.5 - 75 = Rs. 12.5

Rs. 12.5 was left with her.

Explanation:

Money Amrita had = ₹350

Amount she spent on note books = 3/5 of ₹350

=3/5×350

=₹210

So she spent ₹210 on notebooks

Remaining Amount = 350-210=₹140

6/7 of 140

=6/7×140

=₹20

She spent ₹20 on stationary items

Remaining Amount after buying everything = ₹350-(210+20)

= ₹350-(230)

= ₹120

Thus,₹120 was left with her
