Given : ∆AMT~∆AHE AM=6.3cm, ∠MAT =120° ,  AT = 4.9cm and MA/HA= 7/5

To find : Construct ∆AHE.

Solution:

As we have been asked to construct ΔAHE

we will construct directly ΔAHE if sides length are in measurable form

∆AMT~∆AHE

AM/AH  = AT/AE

=> 6.3/AH  = 4.9/AE = 7/5

=> AH = 4.5 cm  & AE = 3.5 cm

∠MAT = 120° => ∠HAE = 120°

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AH

Step 2 : Draw an angle of 120° at A on HA using protrector

Step  3:   Take a length of 3.5 cm at angle drawn in step 2 from A and label it E

Step 4 : join HE

ΔAHE is constructed ≈ Δ AMT
