x+y=178

Now ramu had 22 rs. Less than Hadley Chase cost . so he had x-22

Also he had 28rs more than Agatha Christie cost. So he also had y+28

Total rs. With ramu = x-22+(y+28)= x-22+y+28=x+y+6

We know that x+y=178

So ramu had x+y+6=178+6=184

So ramu had rs. 184 with him
