My Sister's Shoes is an extract from the feature film script named Children of Heaven by Majid Majidi. Majid Majidi is a renowned Iranian film maker.
Ali the central character of the story went to the cobbler to repair his sisters shoes.He put the shoes in a black bag.Then he went to a bakery and picked up some nans. He put them in a cloth bundle. From there he went to a vegetable shop He placed the bundle of nan on the top of the vegetable boxes and th bag of shoes in between two boxes. While Ali wasj picking up potatoes the junk collector came there .He took away Ali's shoe bag, mistaking it for junk.
Ali filled the bag with potatoes and asked Akbar to add the amount in the credit book .Akbar the shop keeper reminded him that the credit limit was over.When Ali went to take back his things,he found the shoe bag missing. In tension he searched for it. Accidentally he spilt the vegetables .Akbar scolded him and sent him away.
Ali reached home. His sister Zahra came to know that her shoes had been lost.The children wanted to keep it as a secret. Their mother was bed ridden due to slipped disc.Zahra asked Ali how she would go to school without shoes .Ali gave the suggestion to wear his sneakers. The children became confused. They went on discussing. The family was not financially well off .The conversation of parents was heard on sound track.The scene ends with the issue of lost shoes.
