an 800 car parking lot is divided into 3 sections, there are 270 spots in section one, and 150 more in section two than in section 3, how many spots are in section two?

In this problem we have to find the number of spots in section 2.
so consider the number of spots in section 3 is x
270+x+x+150= 800
420+2 x=800
by adding 270 in 150 we got 420.
so x= 800-420\2
=380\2
x=190
Hence there are 190 spots in section 2.
