1) it completes half circle
2) it completes full circle​

The distance will be equal to the circumference of the circle, while the displacement will be zero.

Distance=total length he travels, which is equal to 2*3.14*r.

Displacement= shortest length between his starting point and ending point,and since he is travelling on a circular path, and when he completes his one complete circular revolution, his starting point and ending point are same. So the displacement will be ZERO.
