Some Acids have OH-group in their molecules and they may also release hydroxyl ions in solution in few reactions. For instance,Carboxylic Acids release hydroxyl ions when they react with PCl5 and SOCl2 or during the formation of esters and amides.

Yes, an acidic solution too contains hydroxyl ions but in less quantity as compared to a basic solution.
