for 5/4 secs it remains in air

Step-by-step explanation:

S(t) = –16t² + 25

at t = 0

S(0) = 0 + 25 = 25 feet

it is 25 feet above the ground at 0 time

it will be in air until Distance from ground become 0

let say at t = x  distance become zero

=> S(x) = - 16x² + 25 = 0

=> 16x² = 25

=> x² = 25/16

=> x² = 5²/4²

=> x = 5/4

After 5/4 secs it teaches ground

hence for 5/4 secs it remains in air
