if a,b∈W then a+b=b+a
ex:-2,3∈W
2+3=5=3+2

Answer: Whole numbers are commutative for the addition and also for the multiplication. Let their be two numbers: a and b which gives answer1

and on changing the order b added to a gives answer2

For example 8+9 gives the answer 17

Also 9+8 gives the same answer as 17.

When observing the number line if we start from 5 then we've to count to 6 to get 11

Also if we start from 6 then we've to count to 5 to get 11.

Therefore, addition is commutative for the whole numbers.
