An aero plane takes off at angle of 30degree to the horizontal.If the componant of its velocity along the horizental is 250 km/h , what is the actual velocity ?Find also the vertical component of the velocity.

 \tan \alpha =  \frac{v(y)}{v(x)}
 \tan(30) =  \frac{v(y)}{250kmph}
v(y) =  \frac{250}{ \sqrt{3} }
NOW,

actual \: velocity =  \sqrt{ {v(x)}^{2} +  {v(y)}^{2}  }
actual \: velocity =  \sqrt{62500 +20833.33 }
actual \: velocity = 288.6 \: mps
