An aeroplane flies 1000 km west and then 1000 km north. then it flies back to the starting point by the shortest route. its speed is 400 km per hour throughout. what is the average velocity over the entire trip.???

Answer;

Average Velocity= 0m/s

Explanation-

Since Airplane has started from point A(intial point). After travelling, it reaches to point A, from where it has started.

Therefore, the Initial and Final Point for the Airplane Is same so, the displacement covered by it is 0km

Avg Velocity= Total Displacement/Total Time

Avg Velocity= 0/t = 0km/hr
