Answer:

268.4 km/h

Explanation:

Total distance travelled

➞ 200 + 200

➞ 400 km

Speed of first 200km (V1) = 300 km/h

Speed of second 200km (V2) = 240 km/h

\boxed{\sf Average \: Speed =\dfrac{Total \: Distance}{Total \: Time}}

➞ t1 = s1/v1

➞ t1 = 200/300

➞ t1 = 2/3

➞ t1 = 0.66s

➞ t2 = s2/v2

➞ t2 = 200/240

➞ t2 = 0.83s

➞ Vav = 200+200/0.66+0.83

➞ Vav = 400/1.49

➞ Vav = 268.4 km/h

Average velocity of aeroplane is 268.4 km/h
