An aeroplane flies 200km with a uniform speed of 300km/hr and then another 200km with a uniform speed of 240km/hr. Calculate the avg speed

200+200/(200/300+200/240)
=300×240/540
300×24/54

In the question, u need to calculate the total distance and the total time taken ,right!!
here u can see clearly that total distance is 400km.now ,for first 200km , calculate the time=> speed= distance/time=> time= distance / speed ,so 200/ 300= 2/3 hourssimilarly for next 200km , time = 200/240=5/6 hoursnow total time= 2/3 + 5/6 =3/2hoursso, average speed= total distance/ total time taken=> 400/ (3/2)=> 800/3km/hours=> 266.66km/h
