An aeroplane has to fly 1240 km from City A to City B. Due to bad weather, the pilot lands the
aeroplane after flying 680 km 560 m. The passengers complete their journey by bus.
A. What distance did the passengers have to travel by bus?
B. If the bus covers 69,930 m per day, how many days will the passengers take to reach City A

Answer:

A. They have to cover 559km and 440m from bus

B. Bus covers=69930m = 69.930km/per day

distance =680.560km

Bus will take day = 689.560÷69.930

= 9.8days=9 days 19 hr 12 minutes
