. An aeroplane is flying at a height of 7500m above the sea level. At some point, it is exactly
above a submarine floating 60m below the sea level. What is the vertical distance between
the aeroplane and the submarine?

  • Height of aeroplane above the sea level = 7500m
  • Floating a submarine below sea level = 60m

Vertical distance distance between

the aeroplane and the submarine

= 7500m + 60m = 7560m
