The change in velocity is 600 km/hr. Velocity is a vector. A vector has both a magnitude and a direction associated with it. Suppose the aircraft is traveling east initially at 300 km/hr. After a half revolution, the aircraft would of course be travelling west at 300 km/hr. The difference between velocities of 300 east and 300 west is 600.

The velocity After half Revolution is 600 km/hr

Explanation:

given data

Speed = 300 km/hour

solution

as we know that after the half revolution direction of velocity will be  opposite to initial direction

initial velocity = 300

final velocity = - 300

as when in +x axis initial direction is position

than after half revolution direction is negative

so change in velocity is 300 - (-300)

change in velocity = 600 km/hr
