The speed is the same, and the direction is opposite after half a revolution.

So, if initial velocity = + 250 km/h

Final Velocity = - 250 km/h (as the direction is opposite)

So change in velocity = Final velocity- Initial Velocity = - 250 - (+ 250) = - 500 km/h
