Answer:

Assuming that the plane travels at a constant speed. We can say that speed of plane A is 1200 km/hr and the speed of plane B is 1100 km/hr.

Plane B will take 3600/1100 hr to cover the same distance.

Answer:

as we know

speed = distance/time

for the first plane

3600/3

= 1200km/hr

for the second plane

1200-100

= 1100km/hr

now, second plane will take 3600/1100 hr to cover the same distance as first plane.

so, time (t) = 3600/1100

= 3.27hr*60min.

= 196.20 = 196min. (approx.)

write in standard form :-

3 hr 16 min.

so, the second plane will take 3hr 16min to travell the same distance as first plane.
