Assuming that the plane travels at a constant speed. We can say that speed of plane A is 1200km/hr and the speed of plane B is 1100km/hr.
Plane B will take 3600/1100 hr to cover the same distance.

prachig1234: I want the exact answer

prachig1234: This is the que.from one of my maths book. The answer at the back is 3.16.....What can be the reason

I will tell you the ans in 3 hr 16 min

3600/3=1200km/hr

1200-100=1100km/hr

T=3600/1100=3.27hr*60min=196.20 will come but we don't have to learn in point see we will only use 196 min ok = we will write in standard form =3hr 16 min.. very easy
