An aeroplane travelling at a speed of 500 kmph tilts at an angle of 30 aa it makes a turn what is the radius of the curve?

Let the radius of curvature is R
speed of aeroplane , v = 500 km/h = 500 × 5/18 ≈ 139 m/s
Inclination angle { angle make a turn } = 30°

A rough daigram is shown in attachment,
Here, it is clear that,
mgsin30° = mv²cos30°/R
R = v²cot30°/g
Now, put v = 139 m/s, cot30° = 1/√3 and g = 9.8 m/s²
R = (139)² × (√3)/9.8 m
= 3.414 km
